LEVA Mission StatementThe Light Electric Vehicle Association's purpose is to provide services and assistance to light electric vehicle companies by helping to establish a favorable operating environment, by providing a forum for discussion and networking, an industry voice on non-competitive information sharing issues, and to assist them in the promotion of their business on an international basis.
LEVA will standardize, track and analyze industry data by developing a glossary of terms and definitions and conducting surveys of members with follow up reporting to members. As a voice of the LEV industry, we will develop service, quality and safety standards, as well as the standardization of performance.
Extra Energy Mission Statement
Extra Energy's purpose is to conduct independent product testing of light electric vehicles, communicate findings, and assist consumers to find the best vehicle for their needs; as well as help manufacturers and dealers have a point of reference as to where their product is placed in the competitive field.
ExtraEnergy is working to grow the market by organizing LEV supporting programs for leading trade shows since 1995, as well as organizing the LEV-Conference series since 1995. ExtraEnergy is the owner of the international battery safety label BATSO which is a joint project with ITRI Taiwan, TUV Rheinland and UL USA. ExtraEnergy is a founding member of the Industry standard organization EnergyBus.org. ExtraEnergy.org is the online source for LEV information with the largest dealer search engine worldwide.
