LEVA 2011 Results-At-A-Glance: Highlights of Major Progress in 2011
LEVA represents the strategic interests of light electric vehicle retailers, dealers, distributors, manufacturers and suppliers to promote the development, sale, and use of LEVs worldwide. Members receive support and educational resources to expand their businesses while initiating efforts to influence and adopt legislation, regulations, performance standards, promotion and general best practices in the light electric vehicle industry.
• LEVA’s 2011 active membership grew by over 17%, to over 200 members representing 27 countries where LEVs are either a way of life or becoming so to meet the transportation needs of its residents. Read more.
Bike Europe – ETRA – LEVA Dealer Business Trip to Taipei Cycle Show 2012
ORONO, ME (November 15, 2011) Ever considered going direct? Importing your own branded products? Then the Bike Europe – ETRA – LEVA Dealer Business Trip to Taipei next March will pique your interest. Bike Europe, in cooperation with the European Two-Wheelers Retailers’ Association (ETRA) and the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA), is organizing an exclusive trip for bike dealers to Asia’s biggest bike show, the International Taipei Cycle Show in Taiwan (March 7 – 10, 2012). Intermot Exhibitor Program for LEVA & ETRA Members
ORONO, ME (November 15, 2011) The Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) is again partnering with INTERMOT Cologne International Motorcycle, Scooter and Bicycle Fair being held in Cologne, Germany October 3-7, 2012. LEVA members will join together to share booth space in the light electric vehicle centered hall called e-Motion at Koelnmesse GmbH. In 2010, MAC Motors, YikeBike, Fallbrook NuVinci® and Trikke Europe shared a LEVA hosted booth in the center of the e-Motion Hall. Read more.
The Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) Announces Special Reduced Fee for Dealer Membership Category Plus 3 Month Free Trial
ORONO, ME (September 27, 2011) The Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) encourages independent bike dealers (IBDs) and retailers to take advantage of a free three month trial and reduced annual membership fee and join the growing community for electric bikes, scooters and other light electric vehicles. Light Electric Vehicle Association Draws Largest Crowd at Activities at Interbike
ORONO, ME (September 19, 2011) The Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) managed the e-Track at last week’s Interbike trade fair held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The track was 3-4 times larger than last year’s demo track which helped to accommodate over 600 riders, up almost 50% from the previous year. About 20 electric bike and scooter manufacturers provided trade show attendees the opportunity to test ride their most current products. Read more.
ETRA and LEVA Back at Eurobike
ORONO, ME (August 10, 2011) Last year, the European Twowheeler Retailers' Association (ETRA) and the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) made their debut at Eurobike, co-sharing part of the VSF-stand. Given the success, both organizations are present again this year on the mezzanine in Foyer West, opposite the meeting rooms. Read more.
